A Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) is an individual who is licensed to assist prospective borrowers in securing residential mortgage loans for the purchase of a home. The MLO, working on behalf of the lending institution, assists the borrower through the loan application, approval and closing process.This Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)-approved instructor-led Pre-licensing course provides all the tools you need to successfully complete the national Secure and Fair Enforcement Act’s exam (SAFE Test).

This course includes 3 hours of New York State-specific content in compliance with New York Codes, Rules and Regulations (I$YCRR)
