This foundational course introduces the core principles of professional property management, including the key roles and responsibilities of a property manager. The curriculum also covers critical legal compliance topics including fair housing laws, security deposit regulations, habitability requirements, and eviction procedures specific to New York State.

The course emphasizes practical applications, teaching students how to navigate common challenges like lease violations, tenant complaints, and emergency maintenance situations.
