This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the role of a buyer’s agent, outlining key responsibilities, legal obligations, and best practices. Students will learn how to guide clients through the home-buying process, from initial consultations to closing. Topics include understanding buyer representation agreements, conducting needs assessments, and navigating multiple listing services (MLS). The course also covers essential communication skills, negotiation strategies, and ethical considerations when advocating for buyers.
Additionally, the curriculum explores market analysis techniques to help clients make informed decisions, including comparative market analyses (CMAs) and financing options. Students will gain hands-on experience with real-world scenarios, such as writing and presenting offers, handling inspections, and troubleshooting common transaction hurdles. By the end of the course, participants will have a solid foundation in buyer representation and be prepared to serve clients confidently in competitive markets.
